Personality[]
A eccentric and duplicitous goddess. Loves gambling and tricks. Is very good at reading people.
Creations[]
The Fishfolk and Sea Hags of the Five Isles. She also created Her Mirror, a rather potent divine artifact.
At the end of the First Age, Zaya created a plane called "Zaya's Garden" for all the souls that had nowhere else to go.
Territory[]
Zaya rules over the Five Isles, a series of swampy islands to the south of the Kingdom of Iron and the Magocratic Confederation. The area is noted for it's exotic plants and animals, and exports large numbers of magic trinkets and strange herbs.
Appearance[]
By default, Zaya prefers the form of an elderly humanoid with long talons and gashing teeth. She is never seen without her handbag, constantly munching on bugs or candied treats. Another, more secret form, is that of a ageless woman with silvery hair.
Pantheon[]
Zaya has, as of yet, preferred solitude to large numbers of companions. Though the mysterious appearance of the goddess Sonia may yet defy this.
History[]
Pre-World[]
Zaya is a very old immortal. She has traveled countless worlds and spent extensive time on her own. As of now, not all her history has been revealed.
What has been revealed though has shown that she was once part of a race whose name translated as "Those-Born-From-Stone" living with the title "Born-From-Light-And-Song."
Present-World[]
In the current world, Zaya engages in some mysterious long-term plan. During the early years, she created her territory and later her mirror. With it, she conducted missions in information gathering and spying to gain intel on virtually all the gods. Zaya then used this information to cause the conflict between the Watchman and Hazet, resulting in the formation of the Free Cities, as well as the split of Hazet's Old Empire into the present two present nations.
Later, the hag-queen lived up to her name by creating the Fishfolk and the Sea Hags. The latter of which soon spread across the world teaching the arcane arts and offering potions and spells for a hefty price. The start of the Hero's Tournament drew her attention, even without any heroes of her own. However, she vanished during the attacks on by the rouge god known as the Monster King, and is currently working to find him.
